Ashley & Joshua’s Cop Cot Elopement in Central Park. It was a chilly, gray and rainy morning on April 9, 2016 as I made my way up the hill to the Cop Cot to greet the groom Josh and the couple’s families. However, I knew the moment I was greeted by Josh’s smile this wedding was going to be filled with heart and the rain was the least of their worries.
As Ashley made her way up the hill, she was stunning in her fitted lace dress and long beautiful curls but the most gorgeous thing she wore was her radiant smile as she and Josh saw each other for the first time.
Ashley and Josh met in rehearsals for a Broadway production of Saturday Night Fever but it wasn’t long before they were a couple in real life. At the end of the ceremony they played their favorite song, ‘Grow Old with You’ from the Broadway musical, The Wedding Singer. Another reason for me to just love these two since this is the song Sascha and I share from our wedding day.
The entire ceremony was just beautiful and I couldn’t be more proud to have been the first person to announce them ‘ husband and wife’.
