Elizabeth and Derek chose to have their elopement at the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park, creating an unforgettable, intimate ceremony. This day will forever remain etched in their memories. Furthermore, despite the typically bustling tourist presence, on this particular day, it seemed as though the fountain had reserved itself exclusively for the two of them. With no crowds around, the couple savored each other’s love, fully immersing themselves in the moment without any distractions.
In my role as an officiant, I always stress the importance of cherishing and embracing this special day. It is, after all, all about them. Elizabeth and Derek took this to heart, keeping their eyes locked onto each other throughout the entire ceremony. Witnessing such pure and undiluted love was truly heartwarming.
Both the bride and groom exuded a stunning presence, but it was Elizabeth who left everyone in awe. Her classic look and striking blue eyes added an elegant touch to the winter day in New York City. While the flowers did bring a perfect pop of color, they couldn’t quite match the radiance of Elizabeth’s eyes.
Following their Bethesda Fountain elopement, Elizabeth and Derek headed out for a photo shoot with Sascha Reinking Photography. They traversed the city in a vintage cab, making stops at iconic locations such as Grand Central Station and the NYC Subway. Inevitably, the resulting photographs expertly captured the essence of their wedding day, brimming with love, joy, and intimacy.
